Meet Dr. David Gross

Dr. David Gross is a board-certified ophthalmologist upholding a tradition of excellence in eye care that began when Deen-Gross Eye Centers first opened in 1973.

Dr. Gross brings vast experience in laser vision procedures to our Northwest Indiana practice. He specializes in LASIK, cataracts, glaucoma, and lens implants.

He practices out of our eye care offices in Merrillville and Hobart, IN, along with Dr. Jamie Taffora, a board-certified optometrist, and Dr. Jeffrey Nelson, a fellow board-certified ophthalmologist.

Get to Know Our Practice

Dr. David Gross has performed more than 25,000 lens implant surgeries and 35,000 cataract surgeries over the last 25 years. He was one of the first ophthalmologists to combine surgical treatment of cataracts and vision-restoring intraocular lenses. This is now one of the most commonly used treatment methodologies for patients with cataracts.
